BATAAN, Philippines – Three individuals were arrested in a buy-bust operation by the Orion Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (Orion MPS-DEU) in Orion, Bataan.
The buy bust operation happened at about 12:20AM of June 25, Wednesday at Purok 4, Barangay Sta. Elena, Orion, Bataan.
Three suspects were arrested during the operation after being found to be pushing illegal drugs.
Based on the Orion police, the suspects were caught selling one small package of suspected shabu to a police undercover buyer in exchange for five hundred pesos.
Six grams of shabu estimated to be worth 40,000 pesos were seized from them. The immediately brought to the Bataan Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory testing.
They are now detained at the Orion Police Station and may face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
The city and municipal police stations remain focused on every barangay in Bataan to ensure that individuals involved in illegal drugs are punished.
