The TNT Tropang 5G took their game 1 against Rain or Shine ElastoPainters.
With the help of Former Gilas Pilipinas Player RR Pogoy, who contributed 28 points in game 1, TNT was able to secure the victory.
The final score of the game — 98 – 91.
The 2nd match-up was Barangay Ginebra San Miguel against San Miguel Beermen that had a nail-biting game.

After Barangay Ginebra being down by 18 points in the first half, their passion and trust with each other were the reason they managed to steal game 1.
