Bulacan, Philippines – Nine suspects were arrested over illegal drug involvement in separate buy-bust operations in Bulacan on Thursday and Friday, October 16-17.
Three of the suspects were arrested in Brgy. Wakas, Bocaue were identified as alias “Ambo,” “Ang-ang,” and “Torne.”
According to the Bocaue Municipal Police Station (MPS), alias Ambo was caught selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange of marked money, while, alias Ang-ang and alias Torne were apprehended for keeping illegal drugs.
Confiscated from the suspects were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 10 grams with an estimated value of P68,000, along with a box of cigarettes.
Meanwhile, 19 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P74,000 were confiscated from the other six suspects arrested in San Rafael, Bulakan, San Jose del Monte, and San Miguel
The suspects are now under police custody and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for analysis.
The suspects will be facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.—Shai Morales, Eurotv News
