BINI Shines Globally: Named One of the 12 Rising Girl Groups by Grammy Website

BINI, known as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” has achieved another milestone, being recognized by the Recording Academy as one of the “12 Rising Girl Groups To Know Now.”

The prestigious Grammy organization featured BINI on its official website, praising the group for its role in leading the rise of P-pop.

In the article, the Recording Academy described Filipino pop, or “P-pop,” as one of the fastest-growing music markets globally, with BINI at the forefront of this movement.

The group, composed of members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, was highlighted for their significant achievements.

“Amid K-pop’s global domination, Filipino pop — commonly known as Pinoy pop, or simply ‘P-pop’ — is becoming one of the fastest-growing music markets.

Leading the revolution are the eight women of BINI,” the article stated.

The feature also noted BINI’s impressive accomplishments, including being the first Filipino act to enter Spotify’s Top Artist Global Chart and perform at the renowned KCON festival.

“It’s no surprise they’ve been dubbed the ‘Nation’s Girl Group,'” the article continued, noting how BINI has captivated Southeast Asia with their EDM-driven pop sound, blending English and Tagalog lyrics.
