Manila, Philippines — As the start of campaign period for the 2025 elections kicked off on February 11, OCTA research likewise revealed the top senators in the May polls via a voter preference survey.
Based on the 2025 Elections: Senatorial Preferences by OCTA research, ACT-CIS Partylist representative Erwin Tulfo remains to rank 1 in terms of preferred senators, garnering 70% votes.
It can be noted that Tulfo have been consistent in his rank senatorial surveys, such as recent Social Weather Stations and Pulse Asia report.
In the OCTA line up, he was followed by his brother, Ben Tulfo, in rank 2-3 with 60% of voter preference.
Meanwhile, all of the candidates endorsed by the administration for the senatorial run are included in OCTA research’s Magic 12.
Among the admin’s senatorial slate are senators Bong Revilla, Pia Cayetano, Imee Marcos, Lito Lapid, and Francis Tolentino; former senators Tito Sotto, Ping Lacson, Manny Pacquiao; House members Erwin Tulfo and Camille Villar; former Interior and Local Government secretary Benhur Abalos Jr.; as well as outgoing Makati Mayor Abby Binay.
