Brunei Darussalam — Two agreement agri-business and trade were signed on the second day of the official visit of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Brunei Darussalam.
The first agreement was the memorandum of understanding (MOU) an agreement on agriculture and development of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) between the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and the Brunei ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines, as Marcos attended the business forum in that said country.
The purpose of these agreements is the development of economic integration, promotion of sustainable agri-business between Southeast Asian countries.

Brunei and the Philippines also signed an agreement to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
“Through this forum, we stand firm in strengthening the business relations between the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam. Our partnership is a symbol of the shared aspiration to foster economic growth and shape a more vibrant ASEAN community,” said Marcos at the business forum held in Brunei.
Marcos also encouraged Bruneian business leaders to invest in the country and consider the Philippines as a major investment destination.
Before the President attended the business forum, he also met with the Filipino community in Brunei.
