ALAS PILIPINAS LOST AGAINST HOST INDONESIA IN 5TH MEN’S SEA V.LEAGUE LEG 2

The Philippine Men’s team was not able to pull the plug as they had a commanding 2-1 set lead against host team Indonesia.

The Indonesian crowd fueled the home team and Alas Pilipinas blew their lead and took the game into five sets.

Alas had no answers towards the local’s momentum, claiming their first game in the tournament as a loss.

The scores of the five sets —  25-19, 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-8.

Jade Disquitado (20), and Leo Ordiales (16) gave their utmost best in the five-set game, yet it wasn’t enough to pull off a win for the Philippine national team yesterday, July 16.

They are now 0-1 in 5th Men’s V.League, in which they will bounce back and face Cambodia on Friday (Manila Time), July 18, 2025. —Kyle Basa, Contributor
