ANIMATED FILM KPOP DEMON HUNTERS WINS AT THE 98TH ACADEMY AWARDS 2026

Once again, the animated film “K-Pop Demon Hunters” has achieved another milestone after winning at the recently concluded 98th Academy Awards.

The announcement was shared by The Academy on their social media accounts, along with other winners who took home trophies that night.

The film won Best Animated Feature, and it also made history as the first film to have a K-pop song win Best Original Song at the Oscars for the track Golden.

Aside from the Golden, “One Battle After Another” also won best picture, “Sentimental Value” as an international feature film, “Sinner” won best cinematography, Jessie Buckley won best actress in a leading role in hamnet, Michael Jordan won best actor in a leading role in the film sinners and many more.

It can be recalled that just recently, the K-Pop Demon Hunters also won ten awards in various categories at the just concluded 53rd annual Annie awards.

Meanwhile, the 98th Academy Awards took place yesterday at the Dolby Theatre in Ovation Hollywood.
