Carlos Yulo has made history in Paris.
Yulo became the first Filipino gymnast to ever win a medal at the Summer Games, capturing the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday at the Bercy Arena.
The 24-year-old gymnastics star scored an impressive 15.00 on his nearly flawless routine, with 6.600 in difficulty and 8.400 in execution, to secure the top spot and bring home the country’s first medal of the ongoing Games.
