DALLAS MAVERICKS FIRED NICO HARRISON AS THEIR GENERAL MANAGER

The Dallas Mavericks fired Nico Harrison as the organization’s General Manager.

It was announced by ESPN Senior NBA Insider Shams Carania that the Mavs Owner Patrick Dumont will fire Nico at the Mavs meeting today.

As of today, the Mavs are on a 3-8 standing; a record that is shocking, as they went to the finals last May 2024.

Back in April 2025, Nico traded Luka Doncic —one of the rising superstars in the league and their franchise player, to co-star Anthony Davis — a star in the NBA that is known and felt by other players for his tenacious defensive ability.

The reason behind the trade was Nico wanted to solidify the team’s defense, wherein Luka lacks the capabilities of doing so.

NBA and Mavs fans were shocked by the news, and have already predicted that the organization will fire and regret the bold move that they have made.

With that, Nico Harrison has now updated his Instagram bio from “GM of the Dallas Mavericks” to “Unemployed”.—Kyle Basa, Eurotv News
