Ukraine – The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that at least 400 drones and 30 missiles and decoys were launched during the airstrike of Russia on Kyiv, Ukraine on Tuesday, June 17.
At least 15 people were reported dead and over 100 injured following the overnight bombardment across Ukraine using drones and missiles.
One of the hardest-hit sites was a multi-storey building, where a section of it was completely destroyed.
The assault is part of Russia’s ongoing and intensifying offensive aimed at weakening Ukraine’s air defense systems.
In a statement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky slammed Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying the latter President is doing this because he has the power to wage war and wants the war to go on.
Recently, Ukrainian leaders had planned to press Ukraine’s allies for support and sanctions against Russia at a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. | via Freda Ordinado, Contributor
