The Manila stop of South Korean rock band FTISLAND’s “Pulse” tour has been canceled, according to their label, FNC Entertainment. The announcement was made on Wednesday via the fan community app Weverse, citing “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the cancellation.
The concert was initially set for September 14 at the SM North EDSA Skydome. Fans who purchased tickets will receive a full refund, FNC assured.
“We apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to the event for the inconvenience,” the label said.
FTISLAND, consisting of lead vocalist Lee Hong-gi, bassist Lee Jae-jin, and drummer Choi Min-hwan, debuted in 2007 and is recognized as Korea’s first idol band, paving the way for other acts like CNBlue and N.Flying. In July, the band released their seventh studio album, Serious.
