Manila, Philippines – For so many revisions of lineup due to the player’s eligibility, at last, Samahan ng Basketbol ng Pilipinas confirmed the roster today, December 4.
Thirdy Ravena, Matthew Wright, and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. will be spearheading the Gilas Pilipinas Mens for the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
The three will be with other PBA and collegiate players including Cedrick Manzano, Dalph Panopio, Justin Chua, Robert Bolick Jr., Von Pessumal, Abu Tratter, Allen Liwag, Jamie Malonzo, and Veejay Pre for the overall 12-man lineup of the team for an extreme battle that will happen in the tournament.
According to Head coach Norman Black, he did not let the previous players that represented the country in the past SEA Games 2023 that were held in Cambodia. His main reason is that most of the players are also in the lineup for FIBA, that is why he just let them focus on the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers.
Gilas Pilipinas will defend the crown and will do their utmost best to claim the gold once again in this year’s SEA Games that will be held this December.
