Hamas turned over the bodies of three Israeli hostages on Sunday.
This is in line under the U.S.-brokered ceasefire, wherein Hamas agreed to release all 20 living hostages and return the remains of 28 dead bodies.
The three remains will undergo identification.
According to international reports, Hamas has already turned over all living bodies, meanwhile they have surrendered 17 of the deceased bodies.
It can be recalled, Israel earlier accused Hamas of delaying the process, but Hamas said it is difficult to recover bodies because of the immense damage in Gaza.
This issue has been just one of the disputes holding up full implementation of the US peace plan.
Earlier Sunday, an Israeli airstrike killed one man in northern Gaza.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they targeted a militant who posed a threat to their troops.
This new attack is yet another set of retaliation from Israel against an alleged last month anti-tank missile attack of Hamas in southern Gaza that killed two of its soldiers.
Hamas has since denied attacking Israeli soldiers, accusing Israel of breaking the ceasefire through repeated airstrikes.
Local health officials said that over 68,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been dead, 236 of these were killed since the truce began.
