HARRY ROQUE DENIES FAKE NEWS PEDDLING OVER PBBM’S HEALTH: ‘JUST ASKING’

Manila, Philippines – Fake News Peddler.

This was the direct response of Palace Press Officer and Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro regarding former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque’s post seemingly claiming that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. relies on a colostomy bag.

Castro denied the claims, noting that videos from the same event already debunks the allegations regarding the President’s health.

She emphasized that these kinds of statements, especially those coming from Roque should not be dwelt with or given weight—directly calling the former as a fake news peddler.

Roque was also quick to counter, arguing that he is not a fake news peddler.

In a video, Roque said that the post is purely a question and a curiosity, not to spread fake news.

Roque further explained that questioning the health of the Preisdent is part of his rights as a Filipino citizen.

He likewise urged the Palace to release a health bulletin to clarify the President’s health status, emphasizing that the public deserves to know.—Mia Layaguin, Eurotv News
