ISRAEL OPENS NEW EVACUATION ROUTE AS GAZA CITY OFFENSIVE INTENSIFIES

Gaza City – Israel has opened another evacuation route to Palestinians as part of its push to capture Gaza City and defeat Hamas.

Civilians now have 48 hours to leave north through Salah al-Din Street, the main north-to-south road in Gaza, according to Israel Defense Forces.

This comes in addition to the original evacuation route via al-Rashid Street.

Israeli figures reported by Reuters show that about 400,000 people have already fled Gaza City.

Of these, 190,000 moved south, while the rest sought refuge in central and western areas.

However, around 100,000 civilians are still expected to remain due to security concerns.

It can be recalled that international aid agencies continue to warn that conditions in the south are unsafe, citing overcrowded shelters, food and water shortages.

Meanwhile, local health authorities said at least 63 Palestinians in Gaza City were killed in Israeli attacks yesterday.

This makes the overall Palestinian death toll reach more than 65,000 since the war began.

On the other hand, continuous destruction to residential buildings, schools, and hospitals are still being experienced.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Commission of Inquiry recently concluded that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza as they continue their offensive.
