JULY 2 DECLARED AS SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN PASIG

PASIG,CITY – Malacañang declared July 2, 2024 as a special non-working holiday in Pasig City to commemorate the 451st Pasig Day on Tuesday.

The Palace issued a copy of Proclamation No. 612 one day before the holiday and was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on June 29.

Based on the proclamation, the Palace declared the holiday to allow Pasigueños to celebrate the founding anniversary of their city.

In accordance with the celebration of Araw ng Pasig 2024 which the City Government of Pasig will lead the conduct of the Pasig City Civic Parade on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 06:00AM, which will affect the flow of traffic on some roads.

The local government also released some alternative routes that motorists can take to avoid traffic.

Meanwhile, local government reminds not to pass through the affected areas or roads so as not to delay personal and important flights.
