LRTA, PSC PARTNERS TO SUPPORT THE UPCOMING FIVB VOLLEYBALL MEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Manila, Philippines – Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), and Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) showed their partnership as a support in the FIVB World Men’s Volleyball Championship.

The country will host the said event, and advertising it is an honor to have a collaboration with LRTA, according to FIVB Local Organizing Committee President Ramon “Tats” Suzara. 

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank this partnership with the LRTA which will effectively and intensively promote this major global event,” said Suzara.

LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera said in a brief program, they did a train wrap and featured promotional materials to be seen once inside the train. 

“We have specifically designed one train, we did a train wrap and when you go inside the train, you’ll see promotional materials. It’s one of a kind for a very, very special occasion,” said Cabrera.

PSC Chairman Patrick “Pato” Gregorio is pleased to have partnerships similar to this, as his background other than sports is tourism. 

“I’m very happy to be part of 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship. My background besides sports is tourism,” said Gregorio. He will also head the government task force for the event.

PSC Chairperson Pato Gregorio, LRTA Administrator Atty. Hernando Cabrera, FIVB Local Organizing Committee President Ramon ‘Tats’ Suzara,  FIVB Ambassador Bryan Bagunas are present at the campaign launch. 

Marck Espejo, Sisi Rondina, one of the Philippine national volleyball team stars, attended as well. 

The World Men’s Volleyball Championship will take place on September 12 – 28, 2025 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. —Kyle Basa, Contributor
