Manila, Philippines – Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has assured the public of the continuous and orderly distribution of fuel subsidies to operators and the delivery service sector affected by the ongoing increase in fuel prices in the country.
According to the agency, a real-time monitoring system is being implemented to promptly address any issues and ensure that the distribution process runs smoothly. This system is also intended to guarantee that only legitimate beneficiaries receive the subsidy.
LTFRB added that additional funds have already been released to transport service companies as part of the remaining balance of the subsidy program.
Meanwhile, the agency is asking for the public’s understanding as it continues to conduct thorough verification procedures.
LTFRB also assured stakeholders that it remains committed to completing the distribution process to provide further assistance to the transportation sector and commuters.
