MANHUNT ON QUIBOLOY CONTINUES – PNP

MANILA PHILIPPINES – The manhunt operation of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Apollo Quiboloy will continue without a temporary restraining order (TRO) from the court.

“Unless the courts issue a restraining order, that means we can enforce the arrest warrants because they have lifetime effectivity”, according to PNP Spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo.

Just recently when the KOJC filed a petition for writ of amparo and habeas data against DILG Sec Benhur Abalos, PNP officials led by PNP Chief General Rommel Francisco Marbil in Davao City Regional Trial Court.

It can be recalled that the authorities simultaneously raided five KOJC properties with the aim of arresting Quiboloy on July 10.

According to Police Regional Office-Davao chief Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III the pastor is still inside the KOJC compound according to their intelligence monitoring.

Quiboloy is facing multiple complaints including violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Person Act and Special
Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

The Court of Appeals has already issued a Freeze Order on 10 bank accounts, seven real properties, five motor vehicles and an aircraft of the pastor.
