MARCOS SCHEDULED FOR STATE VISIT IN CAMBODIA; CONFIRMS ATTENDANCE IN 80 UNGA

Manila, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is scheduled to visit Cambodia from September 7 to 9. 

Palace Press Officer and Undersecretary Claire Castro confirmed the president’s state visit. 

This is the president’s second visit to Cambodia. 

In 2022, Marcos first went to Cambodia for the ASEAN Summit and Related Summits. 

Following this, Castro also confirmed the chief executive’s attendance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, in the same month. 

Although there are no details yet regarding the president’s trip, Marcos’ attendance at the opening of the UNGA session, prompting high-level dialogues are expected from September 23 to 29. 

This is also the second attendance of the chief executive at the UNGA. 

It was 2022 when the president emphasized to the international community the country’s policy as a friend to all and enemy to none.
