NBI SERVES SUBPOENA TO OVP IN MANDALUYONG CITY

Manila, Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have formally served a subpoena to Vice President Sara Duterte’s headquarters in Mandaluyong City.

Following also after the NBI announced yesterday in a press conference at Malacañang that they were scheduled to serve a subpoena to VP Sara.

According to a copy of the subpoena carried by the NBI, VP Sara is invited to their office by Friday, November 29, at 9 a.m. to provide an explanation for her remarks during a virtual press conference about the assassin she mentioned who was allegedly tasked with killing the President.

Earlier, VP Sara said that she is open to any subpoena order that may be served to her.

When Senator Bato Dela Rosa, who is close to the Duterte family, was asked about the issue facing by VP Sara, he said that the Vice President is “ready to rumble” and capable of fighting back.

Currently, according to VP Sara since she has not yet read the complaint that the NBI will file against her, she cannot provide a clear statement.

However, she assured that she will talk with the NBI. VP Sara also asked for time to think about her response to the said matter.
