Miss Universe 2025 4th Runner-Up Olivia Yacé of Côte d’Ivoire has officially announced her resignation from her position as one of the continental queens of Miss Universe Africa & Oceania.
This was announced through a social media post by the Miss Côte d’Ivoire Committee (COMICI), where they also informed the Miss Universe Organization of their candidate’s withdrawal from any titles and duties that the organization may offer.
They also stated that they will formally return the Miss Universe Africa & Oceania sash.
Meanwhile, in a statement released by Olivia on her official post, she said that her advocacy will continue as it has already begun.
It can be recalled that miss Côte d’Ivoire was named 4th runner up in the just concluded 74th miss universe held in Thailand

Meanwhile, Filipinos warmly welcomed the return of two Pinay pride queens—Miss Universe 3rd Runner-Up Ahtisa Manalo and Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Mary Tiglao—as they arrived back in the country.
Ahtisa expressed her gratitude through a social media post, thanking all her fans who waited for her return.
Emma Mary Tiglao also held a homecoming event where she was greeted by her supporters.
Aside from Tiglao, Miss Grand International first runner up Gotchabell Gotchapan of Thailand also arrived in the country, where they were also accompanied by the founder and CEO Nawat Itsaragrisil
Tiglao also expressed her gratitude on her social media account where she shared pictures of her homecoming including pictures of the gifts given to her by her fans.
