OVER P500-M WORTH OF NEW PNP EQUIPMENT PRESENTED TO PRESIDENT MARCOS JR.

MANILA PHILIPPINES – The Philippine National Police together with Department of the Interior and Local Government Sec. Benhur Abalos presented the 553 million pesos worth of new equipment to President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr on thursday.

This was done after President Marcos attended the celebration of the 123rd anniversary of the Police Service at Camp Crame in Quezon City.

Among the new equipment introduced are 20 units of Personnel carrier 4×4, 299 units of Light motorcycle, 193 units of Light Transport Vehicle, 75 units of Patrol Jeep and 155 units of 5.56 mm light machine gun.

In his speach, Marcos emphasized the work of the police to maintain the safety and security of the people in every community that strengthens the agency’s current theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka.”

He also commends the officers and personnel of the PNP under the leadership of General Marbil for the successes achieved by the agency which were shown to the public.

Including the strengthening of cybersecurity through the establishment of a cybersecurity operations center to ensure response to cybercrimes in the country.

The commander in chief also recognized the Joint operations of the PNP and the Armed Forces of the Philippines to address the internal security forces that pushed to lower the to almost two thousand members of local and communist terrorist groups in the country.

This is also where the PNP played a role in welcoming them to every community instead of fearing them, helping each other and restoring the public’s trust in the police.

He should also discipline some corrupt policemen and make sure that anyone who is proven to have done something foolish will be prosecute under the law.
