PASTOR QUIBOLOY’s AIDE SURRENDERED 21 FIREARMS IN DAVAO

DAVAO CITY PHILIPPINES – A total of 21 firearms were surrendered by the representative of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), led by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Davao on Saturday.

In a Facebook post KOJC, representative Israelito Torreon post that said firearm’s belong to a Cresente “Enteng” Canada a Brgy. Captain of Tamayong village.

The 18 handguns, two rifles and a shotgun were turned over by KOJC representative to CIDG Davao.

Torreon said through his representation Canada decided to entrust all its licensed firearms to the CIDG regional office.

This act is made in order to show good faith that Barangay Captain Canada and the leaders of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name has no intention to use violence as a means to further their lawful and Godly objectives,” Torreon said.

Canada surrendered such weapons to disprove the claims regarding its alleged protection of Quiboloy.

Brgy Captain Cresente Canada is a licensed sports gun collector yet he has chosen to entrust his guns to police authorities if only to dispel vicious rumors that he is using his guns to protect Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy,” Torreon added.

Canada is among five co-accused in child abuse and qualified human trafficking cases filed against Quiboloy in courts in Davao and Pasig cities.

Meanwhile, CIDG Director, Police Maj. Gen. Leo Francisco part of the surrendered firearms is the campaign against loose firearms or the PNP’s Oplan Paglalansag Omega.
