The number of Filipinos satisfied of President ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s performance grew to 55% during the 2nd quarter of the present year.
In a Social Weather Systems (SWS) Survey dated June 23-July 1, 2024, Filipinos satisfied of the president’s performance increased by 5% from the 50% gross satisfaction during March of the same year.
Following this increase, “dissatified” Filipinos fell to 28% from March’s 31%, while those “undecided” also declined to 15% from last survey’s 19%.
Summing this satisfaction results, the net satisfaction rating on PBBM improved to +27 or moderate rating during quarter 2 survey, from the +20 in March.
Based on the survey results from SWS, Marcos got the highest satisfaction rating from Balance Luzon with +38 good rating, +30 from Metro MAnila, +26 moderate rates from Visayas, while Mindanao remained nuetral on +5.
Demographics-wise, net satisfaction ratings of Marcos increased from those in rural areas, from both make and female respondents, from Filipinos aged 18-24 and from 55 years old and up, and from non-elementary graduates and junior high school graduates.
Meanwhile, when the survey asked Filipinos on how many promises of PBBM will be fulfilled, only 9% said that all or almost all of his promises will be fulfilled.
Despite this, there are 27% of Filipinos who expects or hopes that all or most of the President’s promises will be accomplished, which is also the sector where Marcos got his highest net satisfaction rating with +73 excellent mark.
On the other hand, only 8% of the Filipinos believe that the president’s foreign visits highly benefits the country, while 22% believes that PBBM will be successful with his plans during his presidency.
