Manila, Philippines – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) recorded five loud explosions in the eastern part of Palawan, following the launch of the Peoples Republic of China’s Long March 12 Rocket from Hainan international Commercial Launch Center.

This was followed by a condensation trail in the air that was captured on video by the PCG.

Although no threat has yet seen upon Beijing’s rocket release, the PCG warned fishermen and residents to be vigilant of possible debris.

Some residents of Puerto Princesa in Palawan reportedly heard a loud explosion and were followed by tremors.

According to a report by the Philippine Space Agency, it confirms that the People’s Republic of China launched a Long March 12 rocket.

The debris from the rocket is expected to fall 21 Nautical Miles from Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Based on a statement by the Chinese embassy in Manila, Beijing has sovereign claims over Nansha Island or Spratly island.

According to the embassy, it is also legitimate and in accordance with the law for Chinese ships to conduct their activities within their jurisdiction.

However, Beijing is open to any kind of dialogue and negotiation on the disputed territory.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) previously said that they want to finalize the declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, before the end of this year. – Alvin Pelobello, Eurotv News
