Manila, Philippines — President Bongbong Marcos has called on the public to watch and support the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
“Ang mga magagandang pelikulang kalahok ngayon ng golden year ng MMFF ay siguradong magbibigay ng gintong saya at mag-iiwan ng mga ginintuang aral,” Marcos said in a video message.
He also iterated the importance of the festival during the holiday season, calling it a time for Filipino families to come together.
“Tangkilikin po natin ang kwentong Pilipino. Suportahan po natin ang Metro Manila Film Festival 2024. Isama ang buong pamilya, buong barkada, at panuorin ang sampung pelikula na handog ng MMFF,” he added.
The MMFF, which runs from Dec. 25, 2024, to Jan. 7, 2025, features 10 official entries:
