QCPD ARRESTS ROBBERY SUSPECT IN A JEWELRY SHOP IN QC; MANHUNT ONGOING FOR COHORTS 

Manila, Philippines – The Quezon City Police District or QCPD has successfully arrested one of the suspects involved in the robbery hold-up at THRES HOLD Silver Accessories Shop in Brgy. Pasong Putik, Quezon City. 

The arrest was made possible through swift police response, focused investigation, and coordinated operational efforts of QCPD field units.

Based on the report the incident occurred on February 27, 2026, when six male suspects riding three motorcycles entered the establishment, declared a hold-up at gunpoint, and carted away cash and assorted jewelry amounting to approximately Php653,500.00 before fleeing the scene.

Immediately after the incident, Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) processed the area in accordance with established forensic procedures. One fired caliber .45 cartridge was recovered, and several latent prints were lifted for laboratory examination.

Through continuous hot-pursuit operations one suspect identified as alias “Wilfredo,” 59 years old, was arrested at around 3:00 AM on March 3, 2026, in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

Upon arrest, the suspect was found in possession of an unlicensed caliber .38 revolver loaded with three live ammunitions, several motorcycle helmets believed to have been used during the commission of the crime were likewise recovered.

Follow-up operations remain ongoing to identify and apprehend the remaining suspects, including possible accomplices linked to a suspicious metallic silver Mitsubishi Xpander seen near the crime scene during the incident.

The arrested suspect will face charges for Robbery, Violation of R.A. 10591, and Violation of R.A. 11235 (Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act), before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
