There is no stopping for the Strong Group Athletics (SGA) Philippines as they are on a 5-game winning streak after beating Chinese Taipei-White in the 44th William Jones Cup, July 17.
The national team had a roaring 36-16 run in which Taipei had no answers to.
During the game, SGA was on fire; shooting 50% from beyond the arc — having 14 out of 31 (45.2%) three-point makes.
Head coach Charles Tiu complimented the team; he said that they were consistent at the start from the very finish of the game.
“Played great today. Guys were locked in from the start,” head coach Charles Tiu said.
The team also dominated grabbing the boards — with 52 rebounds, and ball distribution — with 27 assists overall.
Tajuan Steven Agee had 25 points with only limited playing time of only 15 minutes, while Ian Bennet Miller (13), Javi Gomez de Liaño (12), Kiefer Ravena (11), Dave Ildefonso (10) and Rhenz Abando (10) contributed to claim this victory as well.
