South Korea Fires Back After North Korea Destroys Key Border Roads

An explosion erupted along the inter-Korean border as South Korea responded to North Korea’s destruction of key roads connecting the two nations.

The South Korean Defence Ministry released footage showing the blast, which occurred on Tuesday. North Korea demolished parts of these significant roads on October 15, prompting a “counter-fire” operation from Seoul’s military.

The symbolic roads have long been a connection between the two Koreas, highlighting the tension that continues to mount between the neighboring countries.
