Manila, Philippines – After their loss in the previous game, the TNT Tropang 5G won against Rain or Shine ElastoPainters in Game four.
Tropang 5G is yet to have a complete line-up due to RR Pogoy’s hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, TNT executed their offense well, as they have been hitting shots and had good ball movement throughout the entire game.
Jordan Heading is lights out on offense — hitting three-pointers and also a four-pointer. He contributed 23 points, including hitting 3-6 three-point shots.
The best player of the game belongs to Brandon Ganuelas Rosser, who was tremendous offensively and defensively.
He managed to fill the statsheet — having 22 points and 11 rebounds.
His presence was truly felt on the court, since he is one of the efficient players on the roster that game.
On the other hand, Calvin Oftana and Glenn Khobuntin also helped with 16 points each.
The ElastoPainters that showed signs of life are Gabe Norwood, Joshua Caracut, and Adrian Nocum — contributed 18, 16, and 12 points.
Unfortunately, Kelly Williams and Calvin Oftana got injured in the game. Williams on his right calf and Oftana with a sprained ankle.
The final score of the game — 108 – 92.
TNT Tropang 5G leads the series at 3 – 1, needing only one win to enter the finals and achieve a potential grand slam this PBA season.
San Miguel Beermen tied the series at 2 – 2 after they beat Barangay Ginebra.
The game was close during the first half, having no breathing room on both teams.
San Miguel erupted in the second half and had a 17 – 0 run in which Ginebra had no answers.
The starters of Ginebra also showed no aggressiveness in the second half, leaving the rest of the crew uneasy.
With the slashing ability of Beermen star C.J. Perez, Ginebra had no answers when he penetrated the paint. He had 19 points in the game.
With the return of a fully healthy Jun Mar Fajardo, the Kraken had his usual-statline of 19 boards, and 12 points as well.
Juan Miguel Tiongson, John Rodney Brondial, Jericho Cruz, and Don Trollano also contributed to the team’s win — managed to have 14, 12, 12, 11 points.
Jeth Rosario and Jamie Malonzo’s morale are not bothered and still plays with heart despite being behind, leaving the game with 14, and 12 points.
The final score of the game — 107 – 82.
