MANILA — The much-awaited horror film festival, Sine Sindak, is making a thrilling return this October with Sine Sindak 2024.
Dedicated to horror movie enthusiasts, Sine Sindak: Ang Ika-5 Yugto will showcase a lineup of full-length horror films exclusively at SM Cinemas from October 30 to November 5.
This year’s festival features four entries from Viva Films, including two Filipino-made titles, Pasahero and Nanay, Tatay, alongside two international films, The Thorn: One Sacred Night and House of Sayuri.
During the contract signing ceremony on Thursday, Vincent Del Rosario, President and CEO of Viva Communications Inc., expressed gratitude to SM Cinema for its continued support of the Philippine movie industry.
“Nagpapasalamat kami especially with SM because this is a very special event for us. Since 1986, we are providing films sa SM.
I guess this is a culmination, bagong level ba ng partnership kaya very thankful kami sa opportunity na ito and hopefully masuportahan po ninyo and nag-commit kami to promote hindi lang ang mga movies na kasama dito sa Sine Sindak kung ‘di lahat ng mga pelikula na kasama para po masaya,” said Del Rosario.
Aside from Viva Films’ four entries, the festival will also screen My Mother’s Eyes, VHS/Beyond, Mads, and Tenement, rounding out the eight chilling movies featured this year.
For only P150 per screening, viewers can enjoy these spine-tingling films, while a P300 pass grants all-day access to all the entries. Tickets will be available for advance purchase starting October 9.
