The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is deploying more than 100 personnel to help ensure road safety and smooth traffic flow during the Undas 2026 travel rush.

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao led the send-off ceremony for personnel assigned to Oplan Biyaheng Ayos – UNDAS 2026, which will cover Metro Manila and major travel routes nationwide.

The deployment includes 70 law enforcement officers, 50 information and education team members, and 18 Philippine Coast Guard personnel.

They will work with tollway authorities to monitor major highways, expressway entrances and exits, and other areas expected to experience heavy traffic.

The operation will cover major routes, including the North Luzon Expressway, South Luzon Expressway, Skyway, STAR Tollway, SCTEX, TPLEX, CALAX, Manila-Cavite Expressway, and PEATC Tollway.

LTO personnel will also conduct drug tests on drivers and carry out real-time enforcement operations to address traffic violations and incidents that could compromise public safety.

The first deployment phase runs from October 23 to 27, followed by the second phase from October 28 to November 4.
