Amnesty International accused Israel of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, in its continuous war that still bringing destruction between the two states.

Tens of thousands have been killed, entire families have been destroyed, residential neighborhoods have been leveled, vital infrastructure has been destroyed, and 1.9 million Palestinians, which is more than 90% of the Gaza Strip’s population, have been forcibly displaced.

This is the result of Israel’s ruthless campaign against the Palestinians in Gaza, that also brought an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

According to the Amnesty International, based in its investigation, the continuous bombing caused 90% of the population being forcibly displaced, tens of thousands of deaths and injuries, and tremendous destruction, as well as the denial and limitation of humanitarian aid, life-saving supplies, and key services.

As a result, Gaza’s water, sanitation, food production, and healthcare services have all collapsed.

Israel performed activities that are forbidden under the Genocide Convention between October 2023 and July 2024, with the express purpose of annihilating Palestinians in Gaza, according to Amnesty International.

Killings, severe physical or psychological injury to members of the protected group, and willfully establishing living conditions intended to cause the physical annihilation of Palestinians in Gaza are examples of these actions.

In regards to this, Amnesty were pursuing the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate further the alleged genocide of Palestinians happening in Gaza.
