Manila, Philippines — An exciting collaboration is coming from nation’s girl group BINI and international theater icon Lea Salonga, as the two powerhouse artists team up for a special version of the song “A Parallel World,” which is featured on the soundtrack of the animated film “Forgotten Island.”
The film’s full tracklist was recently released, featuring two versions of “A Parallel World.” One is BINI’s version, which was released in July, while the other is the “Amping Mix,” featuring Lea Salonga.
Soundtrack reflects its nostalgic setting, drawing inspiration from the sounds of the ’80s and ’90s and blending elements of Filipino and Filipino-American music.
The film also features the voices of Liza Soberano and H.E.R., while Sophia of KATSEYE performs “Never Tear Us Apart.” Also included in the soundtrack is “Mga Kababayan,” re-recorded by the “Kings of P-pop” SB19 as a tribute to the iconic Filipino rapper Francis M.
Meanwhile, the official soundtrack of “Forgotten Island” is set to be released on digital platforms on September 18, 2026, while the film will hit Philippine cinemas starting September 23, 2026.
