On Thursday evening, a crocodile was seen swimming in strong waves near Sinagpa Beach.
The crocodile is believed to be a stray saltwater crocodile.
On Thursday afternoon, personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard successfully captured the crocodile.
The captured crocodile will be taken to a shelter area managed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the town of Malay.
