Manila, Philippines – Iconic ’90s OPM band Eraserheads will take the big-screen with the release of their first documentary film, ‘Combo on the Run.’ The limited theatrical release will hit Philippine cinemas from March 21 to 23, 2025.
The docufilm offers an inside look at the band’s journey through the music industry and their lasting influence on Philippine pop culture.
Consequently, the film highlights the band’s history, including their rise to fame, their eventual breakup in 2002, and their long-awaited reunion in 2022.
Meanwhile on the film’s trailer released today (January 6), band members Ely Buendia, Marcus Adoro, Buddy Zabala, and Raimund Marasigan share a glimpse of personal insights into their experiences, reflecting on their bond and the pivotal moments that shaped their career.
The documentary is brought by Dvent Pictures and WEU, with Warner Bros. Pictures distributing the film, directed by Maria Diane Ventura.
