Manila Philippines — Arriving of Vatican Foreign Minister Archbishop Paul Gallaghe in the country, was awaited by devotees and President Ferdinand Bong Bong Marcos Jr. Today.
According to the DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (DFA) the Bishop will arrive today and spend one week in the Philippines.
According to Officials of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Marcos and the Minister is scheduled to have a formal conversation to discuss Human rights and other things connected to the Philippines and the Holy see.
Devout Catholic and CBCP are looking forward to this visit because it said to be the first visit of the Bishop to the country in the 72 years that we belong to diplomatic relations. Based on the report of the Philippine News Agency, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo said, they will discuss the protection and rights of the region including the West Philippine Sea.
However, Gallagher is scheduled to speak at the CBCP plenary session in Malaybalay, Bukidnon province
