The Philippine National Police (PNP) will open offices in the Visayas and Mindanao for the renewal of permits to carry firearms outside of residence (PTCFOR) this July and August.
The opening of renewal offices is said to mean that it will no longer be difficult for those in faraway areas to renew that it is better to go to Metro Manila according to Kay
PNP chief Police General Rommel Marbil.
Marbil said the renewal for PTCFOR will be opened in Tacloban in the Visayas and Cagayan de Oro in Mindanao. More places will be added soon, according to the PNP chief.
Apart from this, Marbil said that the PNP is also facilitating the process for the renewal of the license to own and possess firearms (LTOPF) through outsourcing for required tests and others.
