SALE OF FAKE ITEMS INITIATED BY SAN JUAN LGU TO STOP

Manila Philippines – The city government of San Juan has intensified its efforts to prevent the sale of fake products by implementing a 10 year comprehensive map led by San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora.

Zamora praised the management of Greenhill’s Mall for taking the lead in trying to curb the number of fake sellers.

The mayor also praised their continued coordination with the City Government of San Juan, the Philippine National Police (PNP), the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines IPOPHL, and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for get rid of imported fake products from its tiangge area and switch to selling quality and affordable products made in our own country.

“It has been drawing very heavy foot traffic since it opened and is a very big help in our city’s revenue generation,” Zamora added.

On the other hand, IPOPHL held a discussion with mall management regarding the development of their campaign that encourages flea market traders to remove and avoid fake products.
