Parts of Magallanes in Makati; Imus and Dasmariñas in Cavite; Bago Bantay in Quezon City; and Calamba in Laguna will experience power interruptions on July 17 and 18 due to scheduled maintenance activities.
Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced on its website that the planned work includes line reconductoring, installation of additional lightning protection devices, pole replacements, and facility relocations along Magdalena St. in Magallanes Village, Brgy. Magallanes, Makati City on July 17.
The affected areas between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. include:
- Portions of Magdalena St. from Magallanes Ave. to Homonhon St., including Magdalena Circle in Magallanes Village.
- Along Mactan St. from Magdalena St. to Victoria St. in Magallanes Village.
Additionally, Meralco will replace facilities inside its Imus substation on July 17.
The areas affected between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m., and then between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., include:
- Portions of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway near Padua St. in Bgy. Bayan Luma 7, Imus City to L & AE Home Enterprises, including Dara Subdivision; and C. Aguinaldo St. in Bgy. Salitran I, Dasmariñas City.
- Various subdivisions and streets in Imus City, including Bayanihan Homes Subd., New Imus Village, Santiago Subd., and others.
- Portions of Anabu Coastal Road from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, including Noble Hills Subd. in Bgys. Anabu II-C & II-D in Imus City.
- Portions of Patindig Araw Road from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway to Malagasang Road, including several subdivisions.
- Portions of Malagasang Road from Patindig Araw Road, including various subdivisions and neighborhoods in Imus City.
Meralco will relocate facilities along Ilocos Sur and Nueva Vizcaya Sts. in Bgy. Ramon Magsaysay, Bago Bantay, Quezon City from July 17 to 18.
The areas affected between 11 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, and 4 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, include:
- Portions of Ilocos Sur St. from Corregidor St. to Iloilo, Samar, and Bukidnon Sts.; Sto. Niño Parochial School and Parish Church in Bgys. Magsaysay and Sto. Cristo.
- Portions of Corregidor St. from Ilocos Sur St. to Bukidnon and Antique Sts.; J. P. Sioson General Hospital, Mr. Freeze Tube Ice Plant, and Jollibee in Bgys. Ramon Magsaysay and Alicia.
- Portions of Samar St. from Nueva Vizcaya St. to Balayan, Fort Santiago, Pangasinan, Albay, and Ilocos Sur Sts. in Bgy. Sto. Cristo.
- Portions of Bukidnon St. from Corregidor St. to Nueva Vizcaya St.; and SM Grass Residences Tower 4 in Bgy. Ramon Magsaysay.
Facility relocations will also be conducted in Amaia Steps Nuvali, Bgy. Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna, from July 17 to 18.
The areas affected between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. include:
- Amaia Steps Nuvali and Amaia Steps Parkway Nuvali in Bgy. Canlubang.
