SAN MIGUEL CROWNED AS PBA PH CUP CHAMPION

Manila, Philippines – In a must-win game, TNT Tropang 5G seemed to have all the pressure on them, since they are trailing one victory to tie the series.

However, San Miguel Beermen came off blazing as most of the shots were falling on their end.

They put on an excellent performance: grabbing boards, wise decisions on the court, defensive stops, and bench players stepping up.

If you want to be a champion, you have to earn it — and they did.

With their efforts to succeed in this series, they sacrificed and poured their hearts out to overcome this challenge.

Team coordination was the most essential thing in sports — and they delivered perfectly.

They worked and played as a team, and showed their eagerness and determination more than the opposing team.

The final score of the game is 107-96.

The Finals MVP goes to Jericho Cruz who was the heart and soul of the team.

His tenacity and energy brings nothing but positive effects on SMB, and the award is truly well-earned for a player like him.

He averaged 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in the finals series.

He said in an interview that he is an emotional person, and gets his energy when he celebrates.

“I’m an emotional person. I get my energy, my power, and my courage when I celebrate,” said Cruz.

He also added that he feels joy in winning the championship.

“I’m just very happy that we won the championship,” Cruz added.

The San Miguel Beermen are now crowned champions once again, as they won 4-2 against TNT Tropang 5G.

They beat TNT last night, wherein they finished them off in game 6 of the season 49 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
