TRAE YOUNG, ATLANTA HAWKS ARE WORKING FOR A TRADE

Trae Young, the four-time NBA All-Star of the Atlanta Hawks, is working together with the organization for a trade, sources told ESPN.

Trae, who is known for his swish three-pointers and his tremendous passing, is now exploring for a new destination wherein he is not offered by the organization a contract extension.

There is still no confirmation where Young wants to be landed; whether it will be a contender team or not.

But one thing is certain: that the future of Atlanta Hawks is now secured as the soon-to-be absence of the 27-year old point guard will be replaced by young, astonishing players in forward Jalen Johnson who is averaging 24-10-8, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker who is averaging his career-high 20.7 points.

Trae had his time carrying the franchise on his back for eight years, including multiple playoff appearances, and also appeared in the Eastern Conference Finals back in 2021.

He is currently the team’s all-time leader in 3-pointers and assists, which he is particularly known and respected in that category in the NBA.

This 2025-2026 NBA season, he only played for 10 games, as he is dealing with a right quad contusion, and is still sidelined because of this injury.—Kyle Basa, Eurotv News
