American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has once again been named the Biggest Global Artist of the Year 2025.
This was announced by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) through a post on its official social media account.
This marks the sixth time Swift has claimed the crown at the annual IFPI awards, having previously won in 2014, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
This is also the fourth consecutive year she has reached the No. 1 spot.
It can be recalled that the K-pop boy band BTS last held the No. 1 position in 2020 and 2021.
Aside from Swift, other artists who made it to the Top 10 include American singer Lady Gaga, who ranked 10th, followed by Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Drake, and Stray Kids in second place.
Meanwhile, Swift’s career took off even more when she released her album in October, “THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL,” which also set several streaming records.
