COURT OF APPEALS ISSUES FREEZE ORDER ON QUIBOLOY’S BANK ACCOUNTS AND PROPERTIES

MANILA PHILIPPINES – The Court of Appeals issued a freeze order against the bank accounts and properties and other assets of accused child abuser and fugitive preacher Apollo Quiboloy, his church and media group.

Among those were his ten bank accounts, seven real properties, five vehicles, and an aircraft named after him.

The CA found grounds to believe that Quiboloy’s bank accounts were involved in illegitimate activities and crimes such as qualified human trafficking.  sexual and child abuse, sex trafficking of children, fraud, conspiracy, marriage fraud, smuggling, money laundering, and others.

The freeze order resolution was written by Associate Justice Gabriel Robeniol with the concurrence of Associate Justices Ramon Bato Jr. and Charlene Hernandez-Azura.

According to the CA, the freeze order will be effective immediately and will last for 20 days unless it is determined that it needs to be extended.

A P10-million reward was offered by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) for the arrest of Quiboloy and P1 million each for his co-accused.

His co-accused surrendered and paid the bail set by a court in Davao, amounting to P260,000 each, for their temporary freedom.
