MANILA — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., together with the First Family, welcomed the Filipino athletes who competed in the recently concluded Paris 2024 Paralympic Games at Malacañang Palace on Thursday. During the ceremony, the President awarded each of the six Paralympians a P1 million cash incentive along with a Presidential citation.
The honored athletes included Cendy Asusano for athletics and javelin throw, Agustina Bantiloc for archery, Allain Ganapin for taekwondo, Ernie Gawilan for athletics, Jerrold Mangliwan for wheelchair racing, and Angel Otom for swimming.
