DSWD LAUNCHES I-REGISTRO FOR 4PS BENEFICIARIES

Manila, Philippines – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is launching a new online platform, i-Registro, today, December 6.

This platform offers Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries a convenient and alternative way to update their household information.

According to Jimmy Francis Schuck II, Director of the National Household Targeting Office (NHTO), the platform will allow beneficiaries to update details about pregnant women and children under two years old to qualify for the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) conditional cash grant to be set in January 2025.

Schuck emphasized that i-Registro eliminates the need for in-person visits to DSWD offices, although manual updates will still be available.

However, Schuck advised against using both methods for updates to avoid duplicate records.

Beneficiaries can upload required documents and receive instant updates on their application status via text or email.

The system integrates also with the Philippine National Identification System (PhilSys) and the 4Ps database, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.

Meanwhile, for those in areas with limited internet access, the DSWD is developing an offline version and setting up i-Registro kiosks to ensure everyone can use the service.

The F1KD program focuses on improving the health and nutrition of mothers and young children.

Beneficiaries can access the platform at iregistro-4ps.dswd.gov.ph.
