GASOLINE, DIESEL PRICES UP; KEROSENE DOWN ON JUNE 3

Mixed adjustments on fuel prices takes effect on Tuesday, 3rd of June.

Gasoline and diesel increased prices this week, with P0.40 and P0.30 hike per liter respectively.

Kerosene on the other hand fell by P0.10 per liter.

Caltex, Petron, SeaOil and Shell Pilipinas implemented all the adjustments, while Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, and PTT Philippines Corp. did not carry the changes in kerosene.

The adjustment took effect on all firms on Tuesday morning, while Cleanfuel will implement the changes by 4:01 in the afternoon of the same day.

The Department of energy-Oil Management Bureau earlier attributed the mixed movements in the prices of petroleum to the new sanctions of US on Russia, easing of the US-European Union tariff, and the increased production in July.

Mixed movements in petroleum prices were also implemented last week, with only gasoline increased.
