DOH RECORDS 205,347 DENGUE CASES NATIONWIDE

The Department of Health (DOH) has recorded more than 205,000 dengue cases nationwide from January 4 to October 14 this year, according to Philippine News Agency.

Based on the DOH’s latest report, 205,347 cases were recorded this year, down from 261,749 last year.

This record has dropped by 22% compared with the same period in 2025.

Dengue cases also decreased by 2% in the second half of September, with 22,095 cases reported from September 17 to 30, compared with 22,479 in the previous two weeks.

The DOH said cases have remained below alert and epidemic levels since the start of the year, despite the rainy season that began in June.

To prevent further spread, the agency continues to monitor dengue cases, inspect mosquito breeding sites, and conduct information campaigns on its Enhanced 4S Strategy and the “4Ts” campaign: Taob, Taktak, Tuyo, at Takip.

The DOH is also coordinating with hospitals and local government units to ensure proper treatment, early detection of warning signs, and sufficient medical supplies.
